Real Ale Ray left this review about Ale Hub
This was our third Ale Hub visited in their expanding chain. The interior was pretty much a roll out version, similar to the rest of them with this company, so nothing out of the ordinary there. This company tends to place their micropubs in a beer desert, so this one was a bus ride on the No 76, bus stop opposite Spoons in Shirley. Four ales on handpump, Butty Bach, Ilkley Pale, Wye Valley HPA and Ossett Synergy. We went for the Ilkley Pale at £4.20 a pint and a cheese and onion cob for £2. It's a shame on this visit, there wasn't any local ales to choose from.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Ale Hub
The second of this expanding mini-chain of micro-pubs, this one is rather lost in the suburban wilderness southeast of Shirley Town centre but no less of an oasis for that... Anyway, once inside, it's the expected room full of chatter, although more modern in appearance than some, and there is background music in the smaller seating area beyond the bar. Four real ales on handpump: Butty Bach, Acorn's Barnsley Gold, Titanic Raspberry Pale and Long Moor Pale from Small World (£3.90).

Great little micropub not far from the main road. 4 ales on when we called. My Pale Brummie was excellent. Well worth a visit.
